ABOUT THE AUTHOR


Elizabeth McGreevy is an ecological resources consultant, writer, and public speaker. A sixth generation Texan, McGreevy has worked in the Hill Country of Texas for more than twenty years. Her research has been featured in magazine, television, and talk radio, including a radio show she hosted. She additionally has served as a legislative advisor, trail guide, and board member of the Flower Hill Mudeum in Austin. McGreevy obtained a master's degree in landscape architecture with a focus on landscape ecology, environmental planning, and cultural geography. She also holds an undergraduate degree in biology from Randolph College in Virginia and is a certified permaculture planner.
